Umami sets no cookies, stores no persistent personal data, truncates/anonymises IP addresses, and does not cross-reference or share data with third parties; statistics are used solely for audience measurement of this single website. Legal basis: the controller’s legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in improving the site, balanced by the tool’s non-invasive nature and the right to object. For these reasons the tool is exempt from prior consent (CNIL/Garante guidelines).
