Chatterence finished second in this week’s SmolLaunch ranking. We are pleased, and mostly for what a launch of this kind actually measures: whether the idea behind a product lands with people who have never heard of it and owe you nothing.
The idea is a modest one. Website assistants tend to be either generic — the same three canned answers on every site — or noisy, interrupting a visitor who was reading perfectly well on their own. We are building one that is a little more useful, a little less noisy, and considerably less generic than the default.
The line we put on the launch page says the rest: built and hosted in the EU, a multilingual web assistant that greets every visitor, and a business intelligence dashboard that turns those conversations into answers. Where it runs matters to the kind of client we work with, so we say it first rather than in a footnote.
Thanks to everyone who took a look, left feedback, or supported the launch. The feedback from a launch week is worth more than the ranking: it comes from people with no reason to be kind.
